The N.O and N.C change over relay contacts are voltage free i.e. there is no<br>internal connection within the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The most common system configuration is to connect the N\/O contact in the retaining circuit of the motor starter<br>controlling the drive shaft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In applications of slow start-up drives where it may take several seconds for the drive to reach its normal running speed<br>the \u201cROTECH\u201d range of Speed Relays have an optional \u201cstart delay\u201d timer keeping the output relay energised for a set<br>period of approximately 5 to 10 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This feature is automatic when supplied fitted to the CSR4000\/ASD series of speed relay<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading alignfull has-ast-global-color-4-color has-ast-global-color-1-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-46290f35ec21609de2717fdc366f36cc\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-4-color\">Rotech offers 2 types of speed relay modules, in the form of:-<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-1-color\">Type CAUE 400 Speed Relay \u2013 Advanced Series<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This unit includes as standard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dual AC Supply 110\/240VAC 50\/60Hz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Single output relay S.P.C.O. \u2013 Volt free Contacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 Selectable Speed Ranges \u2013 Factory Settings \u2013 0 to 10, 100 &amp; 1000 RPM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selectable Start Delay \u2013 Factory Setting = 10 seconds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Input signal repeat output \u2013 open collector transistor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-1-color\">Type CSR 4000 Speed Relay \u2013 Standard Series<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This unit includes as standard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dual AC Supply 110\/240VAC 50\/60Hz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Single output relay S.P.C.O. \u2013 Volt free Contacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 Selectable Speed Ranges \u2013 Factory Settings \u2013 0 to 10, 100 &amp; 1000 RPM <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-ast-global-color-1-color\">Variations to Factory Settings<\/mark><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All Speed Relays can be calibrated to suit Rotech Motion Sensors from 1 to 1000 pulses per revolution<br>dependant upon the sensor type it is being used with.<br>e.g.. 401, 410, 416, 4120, 4360, 41000 etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The part number can be occasionally suffixed with either \u2018E\u2019 or \u2018W\u2019 to indicate it is for use with a type E<br>or type W motion sensor output<br>e.g. CAUE 404W, CSR4010E etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The part number can also be suffixed with x2, x5, x10 (multiply by) etc. This indicates the unit has been<br>calibrated for a higher than standard speed ranges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This affects the \u2018speed ranges\u2019 information in the above description.<br>Thus x2 would change ranges to; 0 to 20, 0 to 200, 0 to 2000 RPM.<br>x5 would change ranges to; 0 to 50, 0 to 500, 0 to 5000 RPM.<br>x10 would change ranges to; 0 to 100, 0 to 1000, 0 to 10,000 RPM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly units can be calibrated for lower than standard speed ranges.<br>Here the part number is suffixed by \/5, \/10, \/100 (divide by) etc.<br>e.g. CAUE 4360\/100, CSR4020\/10 etc.<br>Suffix \/5 would change the ranges to; 0.2 to 2, 2 to 20, 20 to 200 RPM.<br>Suffix \/10 would change the ranges to; 0.1 to 1, 1 to 10, 10 to 100 RPM.<br>Suffix \/100 would change the ranges to; 0.01 to 0.1, 0.1 to 1, 1 to 10 RPM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Standard supply voltages is 110\/240VAC 50\/60 Hz while 12V, 24VDC, 24VAC can be provided upon application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading alignfull has-text-align-center has-ast-global-color-1-color has-ast-global-color-4-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-6cd517840cbf7a9af99e5e6462863844\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rotechsystems.com.au\/index.php\/contact-us\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"4186\">CONTACT US<\/a><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Operation of Speed Relays The \u201cROTECH\u201d Speed Relays operate as a speed sensing relay.
